Default Technique for Pushing Body Text up the HTML code Ladder...

I hired a SEO company to optimize my site. They did very well, but one I wanted to know about one of the techiques that they used to get the body text closer to the top of the HTML.

This is at the top of the code...

<head>

<title></title>
<meta name="description" content="">
<meta name="keywords" content="">

The graphics and links that are at the top of the page then appear at the bottom, but the page appears correctly(see www.surelogos.com )

Can anyone tell me what this is and how to do it???

They used CSS to absolutely position the header etc, see MastHead definition in http://www.surelogos.com/images/styles.css

Using absolute positioning means you can have the HTML in any order and still get the page to view as intended.

For some more information on absolute positioning: Positioning HTML Elements with Cascading Style Sheets, CSS Layout, or An example of CSS absolute positioning

Default CSS Training for this Technique...

Thanks for the information! I checked out the links, and they were helpful. I was looking into learning this and was wondering if there are any good books or videos that would teach an intermediate to advanced HTML person to program using CSS.

Is there a techique that can be done using Dreamweaver?

Thanks for the help!
