URL Forwarding (for an image)

If I have an image file, available at the following url:

'www.domainname.com/image10.jpg'

Is there any way to forward that url to another url? Say for instance that I would like the following behavior:

You type 'www.domainname.com/image10.jpg' into your browser's address bar, and I want the page 'www.domainname.com/10.php' to come up.

Is this possible? Any help is appreciated.

What kind of webserver do you operate? Are you on Apache, IIS, ...?
