Client's Area/Login Area/Upload File/Photo

Please note I am a logo designer not webmaster nor web programmer...

We are thinking of getting an area for clients and designers to discuss and upload designs/files on our site. The area must be secure and requires password. It must be very simple and easy to manage.

For example: http://www.logowaves.com/clients/
I found this forum is almost perfect for the task but lack of "uploading file" feature. Is there anyway we can use the PHPBB forum with a little tweak? Anybody can help? Can you tell me what is the cost? Once again.. I know nothing about PHP, ASP etc.

When you say secure, are you saying you want SSL encryption, or just password protection?

Well you need to know if this program can run on ASP or PHP. If it is being hosting on Windows, chances are it is ASP, and on *NIX, it is PHP
