Looking for an Events Calendar

I'm hoping to find a free CGI or PHP based events calendar that can display a monthly view that when a user selects a date, details of the event would be published.

This is for my band and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK the single user version of CALCIUM is free.

This is a really good calendar with tons of features. Never had any problems since we installed it three years ago. It has one of the best install programs I have ever seen, installation was a real breeze. Whats more, the people at Brown Bear Software are really helpful if you need some special coding.

Script to buy is $16.95 (so not free, but quite reasonably priced!), and if you want to remove the copyright notice from the popups it's an extra $8.00. Easy to customise and administer. They also offer free installation if you're a complete newbie!
