Default Filtering Stats results

Can anyone recommend a good option for stats that can filter out, say, me, my client, her partner, my programmer and anyone else who might not really count as reliable viewer data?

I used to use hitbox, which I quite liked, but it didn't block stats... a couple clients use web-stat but I'm not too fond of it, though it can filter a single IP.

Awstats is reasonable-ish... in that it comes with my server pkg, but I would love to find something that doesn't cost an arm & a leg (small small clients - no big $ corps) that can provide reliable, easy to read, accurate stats (on more than just browser settings)

Default Filtering IP addresses

Correct me if I'm wrong Deep, but I don't think Awstats allows you to filter out IP addresses.

Sawmill allows you to configure its setup in many different ways, although excluding individual IP addresses doesn't look as easy as it might!

Hi Paul,

actually i was able to see the list of IP address who accessed my site..

it shows some top 20 IPs and then when you click on Full List then it will all the IPs...

I hope this is what he had asked for?

Default Excluding IP addresses

I think somethingelse is looking for a Stats package that allows you to select individual IPs that you don't wish to include in your stats.

I think you can use Awstats SkipHosts configuration parameter to list the IP addresses/hosts you don't want reported on.

I've never tried it so I'll be interested how you get on.
