Default goto in bottom bar on YourWeb.Info site

I need help fast. I have been getting these goto links on my web site. I have not put them there. They pop up on any of my sites pages.

Site name is www.yourweb.info

If you want to go and see for yourself. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? What can I do to make them go away. The books page I get the goto for any time I use the word books and the casino page I get the goto any time I use the word casino. These are the 2 pages right now that have these all over the place. I probably have more pages than this.

Can someone tell me what I can do or is there something else that can be done? Do I need to put a script in my codes to stop this?

Basically looking for any information that you can give to me that will help stop this.

You can reply back here or send an email to me at
webhost1@hotmail.com

Thanks to all that reply.

I couldn't get any popups at all. Sounds to me like you may have a spyware program like gator or something like it which looking at the content of the pages and giving you links to pages with simular content. My recommendation is to download a program like spybot or adaware, get rid of any spyware on your computer and the popups should stop.

Default goto on the bottom bar of www.yourweb.info

It is not pop ups that I am seeing on my site. What I am seeing is every word (book) has a goto link to it to this other site. I get this on this page

www.yourweb.info/entertainment/books.htm

All the words (book) have a hot link to it. I did not put this on the site. You
can click on the word (book) and be taken to this site I know nothing about. How
this is done I do not know. I see 11 hot links of books on this page. Is this
done only on my computer? If others have had the same problem how did they get
rid of it?

The main question would be do you see the samething I see? All the words (book)
have a hot link to them, a total of 11 words of (book). When I put my cursor
over this to see what is going on I get the goto in the bottom bar of your
browser where noramally you would get an address showen.

The Good news: Your web site is fine.

The Bad News: You've got spyware (scumware)

As blastradius mentioned, you seem to have somehow gotten spyware installed on your computer. This particular program, called CoolWebSearch, apparently exploits a security flaw in Micrsoft's Java engine in order to install itself. It uses a custom stylesheet to make keywords on any page you view into links going to its own search site. It also has several variants, making it difficult to track with conventional Spyware removal software like AdAware (which I recommend you get anyway).

You may consider replacing Micrsoft's Java Engine with Sun's version. I found a link providing details on removing this "scumware" from your computer:

The CoolWebSearch Chronicles

I wish you luck in getting rid of this thing.
