I hope this is the right forum...
Hi there, My web designer wanted me to start using typo3 as a CMS, but now I'm not sure if I should use it. Yes, it seems like a great program, but it's really a hog. Second, I'm getting the feeling that once I start to use typo3 w/ the template, I can't go & use something else like another CMS or DW. Is that correct? I was using DW b4, but I've been having nothing but problems with it since I started w/ the newer version & using .phtml as an extension. Do all CMSs manipulate the template so you have to continue using it till the end of that template's lifespan? Can anyone recommend a good CMS that isn't a hog & does the following... 1. change web copy 2. Create new pages from the design template 3. Add menu titles to the left nav 4. Add in more testimonials to the flash area Thanks so much & have a great day ! Michelle :)
