Does anyone know any resourses to find the best way to set up my shopping cart to sell single tracks online. I would like the reply email to contain a link for downloading with a means of timing it out after a period of time.

I doubt you would find a ready to go application free. If it will provide a good source of income the author would sell the script and make from it.

Go to sourceforge.net and check around - I think I remember seeing some subscription service scripts either there or another open source site. Seems it wasn't under the e-commerce/shopping cart stuff though - I will try to check and see if I can find them again.

CD Baby. com has a package designed to work with the distribution site . I am new so I can not post web links but if you search (cdbaby sell music website) on google it is top on the list . This might be worth a look since it has everything in one place for musicians to sell and promote their work.

There is Maian Cart for selling music which allows for preview of mp3 tracks and expiring downloads. (Free) I haven't used it but I've heard of their scripts for several years.

For a simpler solution to generate download links, there's Linklok URL and Linklok IPN (Paypal integrated). I've used both of these in the past and they worked well for a small cost.
