How to create a dreamweaver extension

Hello. I am using dreamweaver MX and have a Javascript code I use frequently for specifying the siza of popup windows(building a glossary to be used sitewide). How can I make this script available inside dreamweaver like other components. For example:
Under insert menu>>insert popup.
The code is composed of a function put in the head section of the page and another snippet that calls this function to popup the window.
The function:
function na_open_window(name, url, left, top, width, height, toolbar, menubar, statusbar, scrollbar, resizable)
