Default 301 Redirect

Hi,

I have recently changed the extensions of some of the files on my site. At the moment there are META refreshes in place to direct visitors to the correct sites (e.g.).

However I would like to set up 301 permenant redirects for these pages but I am on a Windows server (with Streamlinenet).

Is this possible?

Thanks!

hmm I don't think it can be done.

I know you can do it the other way around... asp --> html

Maybe someone else has an answer

If you have permissions to run ASP scripts on the server, then you could try the 'Smart 404' link that I posted in Programming Resources.

Thanks for your replies.
I'm reading the Smart 404 Handler at the moment so I'll see what I can do.

I didn't think it was possible but thought I would ask anyway to make sure.

Alex

(I really should has choosen a UNIX server - so many more scripts, programs and resources availible, but hey, I'm stuck for now.)
