Please recommend a minipoll
I have looked all over for a PHP poll but haven't found "that one".
I would like it to be as easy and simple as possible; preferably no MYSQL as I have no understanding of it (",)
I do have a minipoll on my home page but I am not too sure if it is as good. www.empangenispca.co.za
Thanks in advance!

HotScripts
I don't know if you've looked here alreday, but try HotScript's PHP Polls. I imagine they have at least a few that are done with a flatfile.
Good luck.

Yes I had looked at it and that's where I found my current poll.
If you could please test the one now I'd appreciate it! www.empangenispca.co.za

Looks Good
It seems to be working good. It looks like you were able to get it to match the feel of your site.
In a related note, have you looked at your site in Firefox?
That image above the poll goes spastic. It's about to give me a seizure.

Have you tested it?
No I haven't. Only tested it for IE, Netscape and Opera. What does the image look like? It might be a fading scroller that is above the image?
Could others please check this out and tell me if it happens to you as well.

Hi Justin,
I tried the site in Firefox, the poll works just fine. You might want to think of an alternative to your Javascript 'ticker' that sits above the poll, it does flicker in Firefox, and is quite distracting.
Why not replace it with an animated gif? If it's purely a text message you should be able to rotate all the different messages and still achieve a small file-size. Let me know if you need a hand making one, they're pretty straightforward really!

Hey Paul,
Yes please! So far, out of 8 that I've tested, that seems to be the best ticker so far.
But if I can make an image an keep the file size small that would be great.

No problem Justin, PM or email me with the messages you want to include in the image, and I can make a simple animated gif for you.
By the way, I like the little picture of the kittens - that's too cute!! :o)
