Default Established website-change to CMS

Hi all

I have an established website with the majority of pages in html/xhtml and a few php/sql databases.

I like the look and idea of a CMS but what are the pitfalls, will I have to do a lot of re-building etc.

Hello. Once you have a CMS site set up, all you will have to do then is copy and paste the text into your administration module and upload them. You will also have to upload the pictures. After that, sit back and wait for visitors.

Why not make your own admin back end for your existing site. Surely its better to have somthing unique rather that a site that looks like every other out there.

Default CMS

Building your own is ideal, but it might be worth experimenting with an established cms just to see what you like, don't like, learn a little about security, learn nice tricks, etc.

Then apply what you learn to your own site.
