New Blog & Social Icons

Hi,
We have been blogging for 3 years with Blogger. We have our first WordPress blog which we are finding has a substantial learning curve.

My question is for advice on how we lost the color at the bottom of the posts for the Social Icons like Digg etc. They look almost transparent and the comment button color is kind of the same.

Will anyone have a look and maybe suggest what may have gone wrong or where/how to restore the full amount of color?

Also is the Technorati thing enough or do we need to but icons for Atom, RSS, and a lot of other icons for feeds on it?
