Sydication opportunities for art events?

I am extending the scope of our online art gallery to feature a comprehensive calender of art related events in London.

Does anyone know of any organisations who already collect this kind of information and offers feeds to websites like mine?

If not is there anyway I can find out (Content aggregation directory or something)

The feedback I have received from art galleries is that they simply send out press releases on events but I find it hard to believe that websites such Time Out London - Discover Things To Do in London Including Theatre, Film, Art, Music, Comedy, Sport, Festivals, Attractions, Restaurants, Bars and Clubs update their events section by manually entering the information in from press releases.

There IS such a service, but they charge. Quite a lot. I can't recall who they are.

I understand that it is now possible to 'harvest' content from other websites. I wonder if this is how the big events directories collect data?
