Default never change your blog titles

once the search engines have visited your site, a change in title results in an error message.

You can move an item by changing the date even moving it til its the very last thing someone would see - just don't change the title.

a blogger since august 2003

The title that is in the <title> tag of the page being shown or the title in the RSS feed? Or should you not change either one?

Default Permalinks

each Post has a Permalink. most of the time that Permalink is derived from the title. that Permalink is googled and yahoo'd and indexed. then you change the title and the Permalink changes too. your old Permalinks Point to an error Page.

Nah, you should be able to make chnages to your pages anytime you want to. Something must be wrong with the blog software.

As far as I know, changing the blog title shouldn't change the permalink of a post. We should be able to update any blog posts at anytime if the blog is working properly.
