Default It's weird - your Blog?

Hi,

I've took a look at your blog and noticed there's a left menu, and no text in the center and right side... why is that?

Did you know that 85% of any web site visitors leave the site within 5 seconds?

Yes, it's shocking but I've found this from my hosting stats... you need to keep their interests, real fast... 3 seconds or they're gone forever...

By the way, why you host your blog on a free host?

That looks amateurish, sincerely...

Codrut Turcanu.

Default how do i get traffic to my blog page?

Hi Codrut
I know it is kind of diffrent but i wanted to keep it unique on to itself partly because i didn,t know any website building principles and i wanted to see if i could discover new ways,i know there is no text in the centre and right because i haven,t figured out what i want to put there yet or how, thus i am approaching things from an innovative point of view,by the way freewebs happens to be one of the best free hosting services available,oh and by the way did you leave a comment?

Ways to get traffic to your blog? First I'd put something in the mid section of your blog... it looks like a poll and a picture... and that's about it (unless you scroll down)

I've found that some of my highest traffic pages are where I've made video tutorials for people to do simple stuff... like How to add an alias to Gmail & RSS to Html a how to video These get a steady stream of traffic because several other bloggers have linked to the video tut's

Also... get a cheap hosting account... w/ fantistico and w/ one click you can build your own wordpress blog - this is going to make a HUGE difference in your traffic...

No problem man ;) I'm not sure that the plugins will work for your blog though... unless your running a wordpress blog... those are all links to WP plugins which also only take a minute to upload and activate :)

There's tons of them out there... one of my favorites is the Jack Handy from SNL random quotes... (each time my page loads there's a different Jack Handy Deep thought that displays) hell I read my own blog just for those alone :D

I'm not too sure using a free blog host is bad or wrong, 'cause Blogger has a huge following... and who would like the Free Blogger more than its owner, Google. But hosting the pages on your own domain certainly helps, which is probably what you meant. ;)

The lack of a template or any type of formatting is what made me leave in 5 seconds... sorry :( ... you can apply formatting or a template and still keep it unique.

I just started a new blog up on my (KDC-Info) site (2 days ago), and its templated the same as my other site's blog, only the color scheme is different to distinguish between the two. I think schematics and thematics are more important to the reader than uniqueness, but for search engines, content surpasses them both.

Maybe because WPW doesn't really relate to what you blog is about? If a car blog links to Ford's blog then I can expect some visitors interacting with both.

I'd recommend adding some useful articles to make your site interesting Video footage alone won't create much interaction. You need to engage your readers.
Visit Getting your music out there as an example of what I have done - the work has been constant but now is beginning to pay off with some affiliate sales.
