With as much effort as you've put into the site, it deserves it's own domain. A quick check revealed that donbeckett.com is available. Free yourself from the yoke of prohosting oppression. Register today!

POWER TOOLS image is a bit pixelly. You also need to make the scroll bar different colours so that people can see the bar to grab it when scrolling. I gave up on your site after viewing three pages as I got fed up of trying to locate the scroll button every time I had scrolled.

Nowhere does it say click the flower to enter the site.

Your insistance on using a DHTML menu means a lot of people will be unable to navigate around your site, you should always off plain text links as an alternative to any DHTML/javascript/flash menu. I wonder if your menu will actually work in anything but IE.

##### I've wondered if that was a problem for anyone -- but, since no one has ever mentioned it before and I've received lots of good comments on the site, I haven't changed it. I like the look of the pages without a visible scroll bar, and my thinking was that people would use either the scroll arrows or the arrow keys on the keyboard. But, if this bothered you, it's probably bothering other people too....and I'll change it. Thanks very much!

Nowhere does it say click the flower to enter the site.

##### That's because I want first-time visitors to read the whole page and enter via the link at the bottom. I figure, when they come back a time or 2, they'll notice that the big image at the top is also a link....or, if not, they can go immediately to the bottom link.

Your insistance on using a DHTML menu means a lot of people will be unable to navigate around your site, you should always off plain text links as an alternative to any DHTML/javascript/flash menu.

##### In that case, there would be no point in using the DHTML menu at all....

I wonder if your menu will actually work in anything but IE.
##### I deliberated initially about whether to use the pop-up menu. I decided the advantage of not having to clutter every page with a navigation menu outweighed the fact that a tiny percentage of surfers would not be able to navigate with their favorite browser.

##### The pop-up menu works with the following browsers:

Internet Explorer 4 or later
Netscape Navigator 4.06 or later
Mozilla / Netscape 6 or later
Opera 5.01 or later

-- which, according to the latest stats I saw (July 2003), includes over 96% of all internet users. The other 3+% will just have to click the link provided and get a new browser! : ^ )

##### Again, thanks very much for your comments. I'll change the scrollbars and you can take another look, if you like....

You didn't say whether you would like comments about your site....

All the best -----
