A friend and I have been working diligently on this web site and now we’re ready for some constructive criticism. I will be in and out of this forum over the next several days to see your reviews.

You have an extraordinary amount of info on these pages. Talk about a lot of work!
I spent some time looking around the site and I can't figure out where the business links will go for the individual states. Will they go at the bottom of all of the state info?

I found that the navigation is easy, the content is good and consistant, and the site is very helpful as well.

Thank you for visiting.

I'm in the process of adding additional folders and pages to accommodate all the business links. I'm assuming your referring to state and county sponsors. Each sponsor will have there own folder and pages on the web site. For each state or county they sponsor in there banner will rotate with others on the top right side of the site and the left side under the navigation links. The banners will link to the corresponding sponsors pages which they can edit any time they want.

There a lot of work involve in setting up a sponsor therefore we require a set up fee.

Callie- I glad you found the site useful. We've just begun building the site. I foresee it start growing by 1000 pages a day in the next 2-4 weeks. And that’s just a start!

Hello All!

I'm the friend David refers to in his message. I just wanted to introduce myself to you.

I have been "working" for David on a volunteer basis for just over two months (when I first discovered his noble project). Because I belive in what David is trying to accomplish in this project I've had no issues donating my time to him. Hopefully after reviewing the site - at the hometown link David gives you in his message -you'll agree that it's a decent project worthy of being continued.

As David has remarked we really would appreciate it if you you would be kind enough to review the site and let us have any and all feedback you might be able to offer us. Good, bad, indifferent we want to hear from you! People just like you are going to be our "audience" on this. Therefore, we need and want your candid and honest thoughts about the site. Thanks in advance for giving these thoughts to us! We hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks again!

The site is really a great idea!

I know over the last few years, teachers in our area use places like eboard.com to post weekly homework. It's great because my kids don't always bring their spelling lists home and would not be able to do their homework without having these boards to get the info off. Plus, it saves on paper - great for our trees ;-)

Our local schools also have their own homepages, though...so not sure if that would be a prob. All our distric schools are on one site - and you click to the school and then to the classroom. Useless here, considering there isn't nothing there much once you reach the right classroom. That is, for the teachers who do not take the time to keep things up there. Some do, some don't....we just always wish for those that do to be our kids teachers...they seem more organized...and it helps...

Anyways, I know I might have run off topic (sorry)..just thought I'd post what I know about school using the internet. I'm sure it is difference in other areas....

Good luck with your project. Pm me if you still need volunteers and exactly what you need them to do, k.

Hugs*
CallieJo
