Hi guys/gals

Please have a look at a new site we developed. Tried for a clean slick look and no it's not gaming, it's a legit corporate strategy/training company.

oh well, i really liked the first minute or so on the site, it seems very professional.

I did find a dead image though on the hype page but at least you had your alt text...

Hey again.

So another little thing I did was go to your contact page and tried submitting the form without filling in any fields.

The good this was that there was a message telling me "Your message could not be sent. Please, try again" but at first I couldn't see it. The message was pushed way up at the top, above the main image where it seemed out of place - the message actually pushed the main image down...

I'm thinking a message where the "Contact Us" heading is would be more clear to the not-so-average user...

But still, it's a nice looking site. Are you going to be throwing in specific validation on your contact page?

Nice looking.
I usually don't care for black backgrounds, but this looks good.

Not a fan of the clients and hype pages. The Flash took too long to load and having to provide navigation instructions is a no-no in my book. Why not just use HTML? All the other pages do.

Yes the site was just launched, so our SEO strategy has not been implemented yet, but thanx for all the comments guys

Nice looking site ... it took me too long to grasp the concept, though ... I wouldn't have stayed if I wasn't trying to be review the site. I think you need a stronger tag line or something that quickly makes your mission clear. I only realized what you were doing when I was looking at source code to assess the architecture for SEO. So, something stronger to attract the eye and explain it when a visitor arrives. What the eye is drawn to is the logo (which could have something in it to show it's NOT really a poker site .. and to the quote, which, again, does nothing to set you apart from gambling sites.

How do you expect people to find you?

You say you haven't implemented an SEO strategy, but an SEO strategy should be part and parcel of the architecture of the site. Your file names, for example, should reflect your keyword research. For one thing.

The copy should reflect it as well, and there should be plans for h1 tags and keyword rich anchor text ... etc., etc.

I love the look of the site, for a 'poker' type of site it didn't fully seem like one but in reference to MJT's statement, I was going to say earlier that my instructor in college always said before we started a project..."Pen and Paper first"...

lol I rarely follow those rules but when I do start with pen and paper my work is much easier...
