This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

User testing, and lots of it.
I have used pipettes in a lab setting. This site is set up along a manufacturer's mental model of how to display product. Users have applications, and site structure isn't set up to help users make decisions appropriate to their application. Many sites categorize products differently than the way customers think when making decisions. Sitting a real user in front of the site and asking them to complete tasks reveals this. Clicking on cosmetics should take the user to product segmented for those users. Not some hyperbole, proof as demonstrated by insightful site structure. Further, let us assume the user has bought the pipette and just needs tips. There should be a quick access for account name, with every pipette that customer owns. A click and the usual order, filled in, is ready for the last few details for a new order. The site focus is clearly introspective, it need to develop some design techniques centered around customer use. |
