I like the overall look and navigation. Site is clean. Good balance between images and text. I do wonder about the leaf image in the header and on the menu. Just doesn't seem to fit. I like the paw prints. Why not use a paw print for the navigation?

More likely than not, they have taken someone elses design, and manipulated it somewhat to fit their needs.

If I remember correctly it was originally used for one of the energy saving clickbank type websites.

@ OP

the triple hyphen domain does not look to professional but you will need to let the consumers tell you if its a good idea or not.

I agree that triple hyphens don't look "professional", but it is likely that most of the no-hyphen or single/double word combinations were taken. So the site's success will depend on the target audience.

If it is search engine or referral links for affiliate products the hyphens won't make that much difference. If it is customers from a business card, they'll go broke for the extra printing charges. :O)

The green leaves would go more with an energy savings site than dog training. So you may very well be right as to its source.

Use a 1024 page width so you can present some of your more important content and links 'above the fold'.

Great looking site, I felt compelled to read and browse. Great information to the matter. I find your site very functional, which is what matters. If you used someone's template, who cares. The only gripe is spelling. Need to re-read the whole text and fix few spelling mistakes. Example: if you speed up or sow down, Siberian where Siberia is meant.
Appart from that you have a compelling website.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the comments

I do think that the navigation needs to be improved. I will buy a template will enhance the navigation may be next month. This month target is to build more content and also the links.

Alphaomega,
Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake. Will edit right away and may be ask my friends to help my proofread the website to check for spelling mistakes.

Things I noticed were that the header is poor quality - the text in red on it looked fuzzy to me. I thought the header images in general were weak though and could be much better and more appropriate to the content. I'm not keen on the leaves on the navigation/down the side.
The site isn't centered on the screen it's all over to the left.

jromeos78,
Thanks for your comments

cocoon,
Yes. I agree with everything you said. About the header logo, I did it my own! I am not a graphic designer. I will get help from my friend to design a better one for me next month together with the layout that I will be buying. It will centralize the content and also have a very nice looking navigation bar.

Looks good, I like the home page. The logo was a little difficult to read, red is hard to pull off on computer screens.
It's a little thin, and left-aligned web pages always catch me off guard, but those are just personal preferences.
Very informative and clean!

A few quick points...

The header graphic text does not look very good. I would choose a single color that stands out against the background. Might want to consider a complimentary color to the left sidebar buttons instead of identical.

Another thing to consider is a fluid width design with a max width. That way people with 24 inch monitors don't have tons of white space.

Nice site, and informative. I agree with the suggestion of using paw prints for navigation instead of those leaves. The leaves in the background and at the edge of the buttons don't seem to have any relevance. I like the idea of replacing them with paw prints. You also need footer navigation, IMO.
