Hi I have just set up a new site, myangelcards-dot-co-dot-uk, selling my own hand made greeting cards.

I am still at college so I've got no money for a professional design, so I've just done my best to begin with. I would love to have your comments and suggestions for improvement.

1. I would use a white background instead of the light blue.

2. You should have a favicon.

3. Don't make me scroll in the pop windows. Increase their size.

4. All your thumbnail images should be as large as possible.

5. Cart is wacky. I added an item to the cart. I then saw a page with my cart and then was popped back to the previous page. I cannot figure out how to actually buy anything.

I agree with Dave but would like to add some things. The site itself is ok but I think needs to be tweaked a little in design and SEO.

1. Your title. <title>Home</title> Your title has alot of weight when it comes to SEO. You should try to keep your title to 66 characters or less including spaces. After 60 characters, Google will cutoff the title when its displayed in the SERPs. Don't repeat words in title, although remember singular and plural are different words to Google. You should also try to use your most important keywords close to the beginning of the title. Titles, keywords and Descriptions should be unique for each page.
2. Add page descriptions and keywords
3. On your product page your large images are a bit to large and to high of quality. I would reduce the size and play with the quality to improve load times. Your Quantity and add to cart buttons could be a tad bit bigger as well.
4. I to had the same issue Dave had when I added a product to the cart as it refreshed and kick me back to the product page. I tried a few times but had no luck.
"Please wait for your browser to forward you to the next page or click here." <-- is not working.
5. I did a 'blank search' and it did the same as the cart. It refreshed and kicked me back to the product page.
6. This info should be listed on your contact us page as well.

Good easy layout but I would suggest to change all colors of site, As it's name is "myangelcards"

May be these will be colors for site -

Background plain white or very light pink
site header and body color - Pink
Links color - Red or white.

I hope that will make it much better with colors

change <title>
and work with colors a bit..because site is look very 'cold' - all colors are cold
