Your site is really great - I like the content, the layout, the graphics and ease of use. There is one thing I do not like about it - the black background. It is so hard to read any color of text on a black background. I almost did not take the time to read the text at all but decided to see what you had to say, especially since your site is all about writing!

If I may - try a neutral background with colored text that is easy on the eyes. Maybe a soft yellow with dark green text or a taupe background with dark brown text. There is always "white background - black text" but when you are a creative person you want an impact of some kind. Color does that - black does not. Black does have an impact but it is almost always a negative one. It's the wrong impact for a site with the content you have.

I hope this does not sound to critical - as everything else is A-1, A+, AAA!

I will go back and read the poems later - just did not have time this visit!

The way the pages fade in and out when you hit a link button is very effective in setting an overall mood for the site. I found it settled me as I moved on to read your poetry. I didn't like having to go back to the previous page to select another work to read, but I did...you had me hooked. Very nice site.
