Hello, olympos- First, from a user standpoint, I like it a lot. Very appealing, a wealth of information, and easily navigated. As a user, I would have some questions about your T & C, however. For instance: Quote:
From a webmaster's standpoint, I find it odd that your landing page has no description, but your second link has over forty keywords (and is a C & P of your Description Tag). The keywords tag is irrelevant in terms of placement, but is VERY spammy, and IMO, could get you in trouble with the SEs for such. I think your Description tag might better serve you, if it were more descriptive of the type of service you offer... "Luxury customizable tours of all that Turkey has to offer travelers that enjoy VIP treatment", for instance. All in all, I like the site, and if I were in a buying mode, I would definitely consider your offerings.

Olympos-
Revisiting the site, and checking into the cruises, I clicked on the Carpe Diem, and found double entry: CARPE DIEM 1 can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins. The master cabin has a double bed, shower and head. Another cabin has a double bed, shower and head Another 2 cabins have twin beds, shower and head. CARPE DIEM 1 is fully air conditioned through out. CARPE DIEM 1 can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins. The master cabin has a double bed, shower and head. Another cabin has a double bed, shower and head Another 2 cabins have twin beds, shower and head. CARPE DIEM 1 is fully air conditioned through out. I only checked one other vessel, and didn't find a similar problem there, but you might want to review them all, in case of other duplication. Also, I found the pricing on the cruises very vague (where there was any). Is the cost shown in euros? Per cruise, per week, per night? Per person, double occupancy?

Dear Doc and dear alphaomega, thank you very very much for your time and your comments/advices.
@ Doc: I haven't seen the double entry before, really great to have some one else looking at it!!! At the yacht descriptions, all descriptions are text align=left, please see: www.luxuryturkeytours.com/page2/yshow.asp?id=4 At the regular itineraries, all text is align=center, please see: www.luxuryturkeytours.com/default.asp?p=6_day_deluxe#itinerary Which one would you recommend please, left or center? Any other reviews / comments / ideas from other WPW members are highly appreciated! Last edited by OLYMPOS; 09-23-2009 at 10:40 PM. Reason: dont want my signature :P |

I think I prefer the align:center, olympos.
I think I'd also recommend you try to open up the text a little on the itinerary page. Perhaps break it up a little, with some additional spacing. It's just a little busy.

your site looks dull... brown colour doesn seem attractive.. since you sell, make site a bit attractive... content is good... overall your site is good..

Looking through your site I see a few things you may want to think about.
1. Your home page has two title tags. <title>Luxury Tours Turkey |Turkey Luxury Travel |Luxury Hotel | Luxury Yacht Cruise | Luxury Villa | Luxury Guided Tour Turkey:</title> <title>Tabs - jQuery plugin for accessible, unobtrusive tabs</title> The first tag is also stuffed and may hurt you more than help. 2. You have an canonicalization issue. luxurytoursturkey.com/ luxurytoursturkey.com/default.asp With and with out the www also. 3. If you can I would remove the java script and put it in an external .js file. 4. SEO / User friendly URL's would help. Although I like the page I found the plain old school blue underlined hyperlinks to take away from the luxurious feel and I also thought that they did not fit the overall layout and scheme. The home button at the top is kinda hard to see. If possible since you already have links up there and pretty buttons, add the home button to them as well. It is also typical to have your logo linked to the root of the site. The bottom footer I did not like at all for the same reason. I have to go to work now. I will look over it some more when I get back. |

few more comments for you to think about.
Unlike most other sites. I do not think you are selling your product enough on your site. Most people tend to go over board with call to action links and up-selling of products. You on the other hand have little to no call to action links and your contact is kinda obscure with in the content area. One page for example is your Wedding page. Your first line is "Looking to escape and indulge yourselves with a romantic wedding in a luxurious location?" If their answer to this is YES and they keep reading "Then enquire about one of Luxury Tour Turkey's romantic tailor-made weddings." Where is the link for them to click? I see the Turkey link in the nav bar. But your visitor is not looking there as they are reading. They are looking at the words and pictures. I think a link or two in the text would help along with a few images. Lastly I have found it best that when I have "Contact us today for your free consultation." To link the words 'Contact Us' Visitors are two things in general. Lazy and dumb. Do not make them think and make things as easy as possible and they will be happy. This one is a big no no on any web site and needs to corrected ASAP. Do not ever ask for my Credit Card info on a non Https. "luxuryturkeytours.com/book.asp" Nough said on that topic. Also on that page the top header is not the same as the rest of the site. I would keep it consistent. On your pages like 6 day stay and 7 night stay your keywords and descriptions are a bit to long. I would add some short of analytic to your site. Your 'amasya' Page. Unless you have something to show or say you may want to remove the link. Blank pages does not do anyone any good. Nit pick: The watermark on your contact page looks off. Looks like it starts to repeat on the right side. Your Yacht page did not have the large scrolling image next to the logo. Only a plain white box showed. But on the up side the home button looked real good. But that to is only on this page. Hope this helps Last edited by amxfan; 09-25-2009 at 01:48 AM. |

change your title information on something more advertising/attractive
I think that black background is very 'strong' use a bit softer color or some simple and not attractive ornament and about other thing other users already said a lot |
