Hello all,

I want you to please review my newly launched general discussions forum Decent Discussions Forum

I am using free forum script PhpBB3 and will upgrade to VBulletin if everything goes right and forum start growing well.

I also have a question about copyrights. Do I must put the links to phpbb.com and xabbblue.com (using theme from xabbblue.com) or I will be in trouble if I don't put their links on my forum?

The design is fine.
I would reduce the number of categories. No one wants to participate in a forum where no one is.
Collapse all the fun into a single forum.
Collapse all the adult.
You can always expand later.

Open Source programs often require that you retain the design/software development links as part of the license agreement. Many times the terms are either on the download page, or in a readme or license file that are included in the download package.

Free is a pretty darned good price for both software and templates, and leaving the intact link in place is a very small compensation for the benefit you receive. If I've done a lot of modification to a skin or template, I will leave the original designers link, but add text that says "design based on a template from xyz development".

After all, in all honesty, they did do all the work. Why would I want to pass off someone else's effort as my own?

Whether you'll be in "trouble" or not is another question. In this day and age, morality and legality are often miles apart.

Have you thought about a variable width?
I wouldn't use a fixed one.
