Default Very Wise Name Generator

Please take a look at www.VWNG.com . It's a domain name generator, where you copy and past a chunk of text from a blog or news story (or anything really) and it will suggest possible domain names based on that text.

I have just added a feedback forum where people can post domains they have found, but do not want to register themselves.

Let me know what you think

The only comment I can think of would be that I can't imagine how that would be truly useful. It basically just grabs two or three word phrases, and checks them against a domain name registry for availability. I think most of us can do that, and come up with more viable site names.

Yeah but Doc, like any tool it's purpose is to save time. What I like to do is go to Google news, copy the latest sci/tech stories and run them through VWNG. Quite often you get phrases that are new, as in new concepts or products. For example something like ZuneSales might pop up before anyone thought to register it.

The chunk of text from matt cutts' about me page suggests he should call his site one of these domains...

text used was:

"Hi, my name is Matt Cutts and I joined Google as a software engineer in January 2000. I’m currently the head of Google’s Webspam team. Before Google, I worked on my Ph.D. in computer graphics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have an M.S. from UNC-Chapel Hill, and B.S. degrees in both mathematics and computer science from the University of Kentucky.
I wrote the first version of SafeSearch, which is Google’s family filter, and I’ve worked on search quality and webspam at Google for the last several years."

sorry, but i come uyp with better suggestions in my sleep!

Why select the worst ones for your example?

Nope, only if you select different settings, which I did in this instance.
