my site Laundry Bag Store Online has been around for quite a few years. It does decent sales so I'm not too worried but would like to improve it in any way I can.

Do the bag images load too slowly? How do they look on your monitor?

Is there enough product/shipping information?
Is the information easy to find?
cosmetic improvements?

If you have been receiving any feedback from visitors regarding loading times for your laundry bag images, it would be because you are using images at 325x375 scaled down to 162x188 (for the 3040jnrbl08.jpg image and similarly for the others).

These images are saved in maximum-quality JPG format, which further increases the file size.

I batch-processed a few of the images on the homepage and reduced the total size of 12 files from 1.14MB to 433KB (still saved at high quality, no noticeable artifacts).

You could probably reduce the weight of the image files further by sizing them correctly for display on the page - I'm confident that you could reduce your page load time by 50% or more if you were to just do that.

The loading of images is quite slow. Reducing loading time through image optimization as to attract potential users and not to bog down the overall loading time of your site

the bags were a little slow, also it looks like the google ads are advertising competitor sites also, so you might want to consider if the pay-per-clicks are giving you enough return to compensate for any loss of revenue by advertising competitor sites

thanks for the feeback.
No customers complained about the image loading. I just noticed it myself on a DSL connection but I like those suggestions. The top images are not really thumb nailed correctly and rely on the browser to scale them.

I've filtered most of my direct competitors from appearing in my Google ads, but perhaps that space may be utilized for something else.

Images loaded really quick for me. Didn't know there was a market for laundry bags, that's what I call niche!

That seems to happen in IE, but not in FF.

I agree, it's annoying. If someone wants to copy your images, they'll be able to regardless, so why bother?
