Okay, first impression: just another template blog with little to draw me into clicking into any of the posts. Perhaps some thumbnail images to give one a quick impression of each post's topic would help. The gray-tones color scheme is very subdued, offering little contrast. I'm not an advocate of loud, carnival-style color schemes, just a little more contrast and "life".

I also have to wonder if having a large HGH ad on the page is really helpful. If you think so, then why not steroids, too? Since your blog seems to be directed to people that are interested in beginning in bodybuilding, I think advocating the use of HGH is, at the very least, irresponsible, particularly since "healthy living" is one of your main thrusts.

Your keywords seem a little weak.

Overall, no, I probably would not return. And if I found my son using your blog as a guide, I would probably be concerned, from the health aspect.

I purchased the thesis theme and applied the free template for thesis on it. Wyhat colour combination would you suggest?

What is HGH? Do you mean the ad? It is adsense that runs on the blog and I cannot control what Ads and shown. The blog is more of a general type rather than focused on body building.

Do you mean the home page keyword or the post keyword?

Any tips to improve? The articles are written by my sister who is a yoga and diet expert. (She is a naturopathy doctor). The bodybuilding part is written by her friends who are doing bodybuilding for over 5 years

I am doing the SEO for it.

So can you suggest me what changes I should make to

1. Make you feel more like a unique blog
2. Make you want to come back
3. Wouldnt have your son referring to this blog health wise

I don't know, maybe just a little more splash of color here and there, perhaps in the banner? Also, you might consider enlarging and bolding the font somewhat on the individual post's lead-ins. Another thought would be a subtle background image tile, provided it can be implemented on the template. Just something to give the page a character of its own, rather than just a cookie-cutter image.

I understand that you can't really control what AdSense puts up...that's one of the reasons that I personally dislike AdSense. As an example, since one of the supposed effects of HGH use is increased sexual drive and stamina (and they've obviously already made the connection between HGH and bodybuilding), tomorrow you may find an ad for ***** pumps or Viagra popping up.

HGH is human growth hormone. It is often used by athletes and bodybuilders, to "bulk up", and is quite often used in conjunction with steroids. Most of the side effects are most often encountered around 40 or 50 years of age and after, the most common being pituitary tumors. What is particularly concerning is that much (if not most) of the "natural" HGH sold around the world is of animal origin rather than human. A lot of synthetic HGH is marketed as well. It's been banned by most athletic associations, just as have steroids.

I was looking at the home page.

I did notice a couple of typo/spelling/grammatical errors (one that comes to mind was in the caption of one of Arnold's images - Philiosophy, vs. Philosophy. Some of what I noted was simply awkward phrasing, which may indicate either that English is a second language of the writer, or that it was written in haste, and not checked.

I am not a blogger, so my comments/suggestions are more from a user's perspective. I think I've already expressed my concerns about the health aspects, as pertain to the AdSense. Whether we can control AdSense content or not is probably not going to enter the user's awareness. Most will assume that we endorse anything that is on our page. Also, my son would have little reason to visit a site entitled HealthRuns, for other than health reasons, of some sort, right?

I am currently getting a custom banner done for my site. Hope that fills up the color gap.

Background image tile throughout the design on just on posts?

It is always difficult to target a keyword for the home page using a blog, if not using the static front page.

typos corrected. Can you give me a sample of the "awkward phrasing" in my blog so that the writer and me can work on correcting such phrases and prevent them from happening in the future. you are spot on with the English being second language.

I only have a short while before I need to leave the house, but I'll take a look at one post for you, that deals with magnetotherapy.

“Magnetotherapy as the name denotes, is the treatment using magnets. It’s a clinical system of medicine that treats and cures human ailments, by the application of magnets to human body.”

The statement here refers to “the treatment”. The treatment of what? Use of “the” denotes a specific sort of treatment, so I would suggest this would be a good place to insert a brief qualifier, such as:

Magnetotherapy, as the name denotes, is a clinical system of treatment of such things as inflammation, aches, and some dermatological disorders, utilizing magnetic fields.

“Can cure inflammations, ulcerations, diseases of uterus, bowels, injuries, body aches, skin allergies, psoriasis, some type of cancers, insomnia….etc. that we can deal later”

First, I would suggest that you remove any reference to “cure”. This is totally unsubstantiated, and as such, calls your credibility into question, aside from the possible legal ramifications. Also, as an example, “…etc. that we can deal later” would be better said as “…etc., that we can address later.” We can deal with something, or we can address it.

Another thing that I just noticed. You're using a serif font. I would suggest that you change to a sans serif, such as Arial or Verdana, as it will render much better, and gives better readability.

As a topical issue, I would suggest you refer to "magnetic fields", rather than "magnets" as the medium of treatment. It gives the reader a better impression of your knowledge of the topic, and will help them accept you as more of an authority on the subject.

Have to run...good luck!

No problem, guy! I'm back now, but the "lil lady" has told me that I'm grillin' tonight. If I don't get stuck with the dishes too (after all, why do we have 18 y/o daughters?), I'll try to take another stab at it for you.

Later!!

2. Content quality. Awful. Magnets for health are "junk science".

It is not a web site as such, it is a blog. Not hard to find even with the link removed.

It looks like a blog, worse it looks like a very grey blog. Not exactly inspirational, what ever happened to being in the bloom of health or in the pink, rosy cheeks etc. Health is associated with colour! (sorry USA) color!

Now if you had a web site built and used your blog along side it for networking and getting client loyalty, you may start on your way to being commercially viable. Web 2 even!

Tough business you are in.

Theme looks good but I think you should change header color(may be fresh green color) and may be header with some good health and fitness related images.

you main title is not aligned properly right now, it's over to navigation. Just try those change I am sure it will looks much better.

Your site title does not fit in the header of the page. Colors seem nice but neutral. But i think the page is empty. Health tips are not in my interests so i cant tell you that i am a future visitor.
