I am new to this forum. I would really appreciate some neutral unbaised opinions on my website. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips you may have on improving my PR would be great.
Thanks,
Tonya

Hi there, your site looks great. Really cheerful without being too bright. One quick point on your Clearance Items, don't list them as 'what's not', it gives completely the wrong impression.
I also wouldn't say 'what's selling'.

Keep the 'popular themes' bit and get rid of the text above. Your sale stuff though I would definately find another term for.

There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary whitespace between your disclaimer and your newsletter subscription.
Also your disclaimer is way too much - and too small, I'd consider moving this off the main page altogether and into a page on it's own.
Lovely colours throughout.

Thank you for the insight. I never liked the disclaimer on the home page but I thought I had to have it there because of the characters. Do you have any suggestions on how to increase my PR. I have many sites pointing to me but google isn't showing any of them.
Thanks

Default Great site....

Hi Tonyab...

I loved the site Tonya, lots of great colors etc... and I don't think that having a section that says what's hot and what's not is a bad idea... As a parent it's nice to know that Clifford and Arthur are not in right now cause I won't waste my money getting that stuff for my kids... Oh where were you 2 months ago when my kids both had their birthdays??? You could have saved me atleast a few hours of work and saved me a ton of money:))

Ok... for your PR and I take it that you mean your page rank... I was told that your page rank does'nt really have much to do with the search results that you get for your site... I tell everyone what I've been told about SEO take your most popular search terms... ie: Dora the explorer and put them first the spiders will only read the first 24 keywords that you use so choose them wisely;) after you've changed that try and use each of the keywords from your meta tags in your first paragraph of content... which you don't currently have;) that will surely help the rank of the site;)
I hope this helps a lil...
Cheers,
NeO~1

Thank you. I have no idea what that means, but my husband does. I will print your suggestions and give them to him so he can fix it. He is the technical one, I just put cute parties together for kids, and save their parents some money :)

Nice looking site but if it was me I would move the header to the top above the nav.

The picture in the middle of the page is a lttle fuzzy looking.

I love your logo but I would have it at the very top of the page in the header and the nav. under it.

I would put contact information at the bottom of every page.

I also noticed the copyright of 2003.. you may want to include 2004 now.

I liked using the sitemap to see the overall structure of your page as I was a little confused of the flow.

It makes no difference to the search engines that use the meta-tag keywords attribute whether or not you use commas or spaces to separate your keywords and keyword phrases. If it is easier for you to view your keyword phrases with commas, then use them. Using commas will not affect your web page's relevancy.

Really nice...the site looks much better now from a customers point of view.

Hmmm, you ship worldwide? You'll be on my favourites list now ;-)
