Default Please, take a look at www.websitemasterminds.com

I don't have a logo yet. I have a few ideas but - I would like to know what you think about the site. Do you have any ideas about a logo? I would be glad to take a look at your site also.
Thanks,
Ramiga http://www.websitemasterminds.com/

If you going to tell people how to build websites you should have the perfect sample site ( yours ).

The site looks good but on the home page there is too much going on. I would get rid of the picture with the nav bar. on the left.
I would add some really good text. You have to guide your customer in the direction you want them to go. I do not know which way to go from your home page.
The way the text is laid out makes me not want to read it but I'm not sure why.
I looked at the site for a long time before I figured out what your doing. You have 3 seconds to let your customer know what your doing.
The site is not bad but I would work on letting your customer know what your selling a lot faster.

Your going to have to tidy that up a fair bit. When a client looks at your site the first impression he is going to get is 'this is their standard of design?'. So you have to make sure that you are offering the best you can.

You have all the elements to a degree, now you jsut have to put them together to make it look good.

A few things to note:
1. The text you have under the left hand side images has a white background & looks out of place. It looks like you have stuck a post it note under each image.
2. Structure a better navigation system. At the moment you have to hestitate to look for directions.
3. Testimonials are good, but remember they can be faked. A better testimonial of your work is a portfolio of the work you have done.

I'll leave it at that for the moment & check again another day.

Good Luck.

I have to say you've done well with content. In addition to lauding the idea of the template, you might want to stress differentiation.

Web Site Masterminds carries along with it a lot of expectation. It remains to be seen what you've decided on. It may not be flashy graphics. Nor must it mean overly sophisticated code. But there should be something.

Default Stuff to think about

Hi ramiga:

I like the colors you have chosen, but why do you have the navigation scattered. It also needs to be consistant. I find it a bit difficult to get around. If all pages have the same links at the same location, I won't get lost. If you reduce the blue behind the links, then you will be able to reduce the width of the page. As for reading the text, I find it a bit small, but then again my resolution is high.

Consistancy is everything when it comes to a site, especially fonts. I've learned this through others here at webproworld and they have helped me with my site, which of course I'm still working on.

If you want, you can even turn the blue background for the links into buttons, so it's not so plain, I plan to do tht with my site.

Just some suggestions and good luck
