Default hi

Welcome to WPW,
sorry for your first review to be a bad one but take this criticism constructively and you could have a gr8 site, the foundation is definately there and the product is very interesting. The side bar is actually quite good, but i would not have the text increasing in size, rather have it change colour. The main body colour does not wuite fit with the side bar colour, either keep the same colour throughout or make two different shades, the deep blue and the deep purple do not work. Neither does, in my opinion the yellow font, it is also too big. I personally do not like the way the links stick to your screen when you scroll and how a large area of white appears on all pages save the home page. However, this is a solid foundation for what culd be a gr8 site. What it desperately needs is a banner and a logo.

Hope this helps, and does not put you off WPW, they're not all as harsh as me...honest!

Regards

Default Flame Design

Decrease the horizontal width of your main body of text. Also, give yourself some breathing room on all edges of your text. This white space will make your text much easier to read.

Use the eyedropper tool to match your background color with that of your image on the left. You might have to use a 1X1 pixel image to match exactly.

Try to include an original graphic on each page to draw your reader in.

I can't say that I totally understand the technical specs of your product, but I would guess from the fine details that you have a technically superior product. Unfortunately, without a professional logo, most visitors would not give you the benefit of the doubt. To a potential customer, not having a logo subconciously suggests that your product is not worthy of putting a face on it; the quality is not sufficient enough to be represented in graphic form. I am sure this is not the case. I would go so far to argue that your logo is one of the most important elements on your webpage.

I hope these suggestions will help,
Take Care,

Grease

To start with you do need a logo.
I do not like the left nav bar following me around.
I would also put more information on your home page.
I agree the left nav bar would be better if the mouse over just changed color instead of changing text size.
The site does look good and a couple changes will make it into a great site.

Thank you both very much, this is a great forum for someone like myself who is trying to stage a one man show.

I have taken the feedback on board and i am looking into a logo design as we speak. I never actually thought about us not having a logo (pretty bad when one has a masters degree in marketing) i should know the importance of brand image.

Once again thank you,
