I think I have the best content for consumers with insurance claims on the internet, yet my site ranks for these terms may pages down on Google, and yet sites that sell insurance are on page one for these terms???

Fist impression is good. Nice colour scheme.
1.) The first negative is the photo on home page. It is squashed, out of proportions. size it in image editor to correct size.
2.) To download your PDF "frauds.pdf [5MB]" (You are the enemy) I would open it in new window to keep client on my page. The article is very enlightening, I will keep it
3.) Same on the Press release page. All PDFs open inn the same page instead in new window.
4.) Copy right 2005?????
5.) Links takes the client away from your website again.
Website that provides very useful information, have good colour scheme, logo and is easy to navigate. My verdict is thumbs up.

Your copyright notice should typically show the current year. If the site has been up and active since 2005, then I would probably show it as ©2005-2009.

Showing all those years indicates that the site (hence, the company) has been around for a while, which tends to eliminate some fears of "fly-by-night" operations. Also, showing only a copyright from four years ago, gives the impression that the site is out of date, perhaps even abandoned.

Your sitemap link is broken. You should have your own page of links, not a link to someone else's page (or delete Links entirely). Agree about the photo on the front page. It should look like the on Ron's page, ie, not squished.
