Default Suggestions for promoting my site, PLEASE

I have had this website on the net for at least 8 months now. During that time I have only had 1 order. What is wrong with my site? How can I get more visitors and buyers? I'm new to web design and html. I could use all the help I can get.I will replicate reviews. My websitehttp://www.lisaleesgifts.com

first of all, you should have put your post in another forum... perhaps the one for search engine optimization.
Also, check your stats... are you getting visitors to your site? how many? I added a product to my cart... your shipping costs seem a bit high (almost 50%) - that might be a deter people from purchasing.

but in any case, I viewed your source code and checked the keywords - you are using keywords that I would not think of to find your site, such as:
"gifts,unique,birds,home decor,garden,baby gifts,medievil,musicals,wildlife,glass,religious,b irdhouses,Patchwork,collectables,christmas,patriot ic,photo-frames,ocean,windchimes,shopping"...
In my estimation, "musicals, shopping, ocean, garden, unique, wildlife" are not words I would key in to look for a site that sells your products... you should consider using phrases instead of only words... also, be sure that the phrases/words you are using for keywords are in the body of your text.

I pretty much agree with the comments from Mary Ann. I would suggest you use a spell checker when you enter your text, both on the page and in your keywords. catagory, midievil, collectable, etc..

Your text has good keywords like porcelain figurines, collectors plates I think are better suited keywords than the single words you use.

You do have a decent PR with Google. I would imagine your keyword ranking doesn't get you a lot of hits.

You have nice products that seem priced well.
