Your content may be good...didn't go that far. What you need right now is style and navigation and functions. Take a look at my blog for some idea of what is meant:

It's a very simple site. I think, it won't have success because it's not interesting. But you try to promote it.

Um...the reason why he doesn't have any images etc. is because the site doesn't currently exist. It only exists in mock-up form on "ultimatemotorbikes [.] com". Mark obviously just used "iSpyWithMy [.] com" as the blog folder name and as the domain name in the blog's settings.

Click his signature link to see, "iSpyWithMy [.] com" currently goes to a HostGator [.] com 404 page. His blog links all images to iSpyWithMy [.] com which currently isn't set up, (in fact I don't even think you own this domain name Mark).

Unless you're this guy, whois [.] domaintools [.] com/ispywithmy [.] com, (take note of registration info), you're likely to have a legal issue for using a domain name belonging to someone else on your site. If you want, buy "ispywithmy [.] net" or one of the other domains available for this keyword, use that.

Until then, you have some work to do.

Of course the domain name belongs to ourselves, it is registered in my fathers name, who is also a business partner in other areas of business. Streuth, what an accusation! Don't be so stupid.

To the rest of you guys, my apologies that the blog isn't showing up properly and thank you for your constructive thoughts, I very much appreciate your comments.

Got a hosting issue at the moment, so whilst I'm waiting for my tech guy to look into this, the site for now is down, hence the reason why since this thread was posted, you are now seeing the text all appearing on the white background, my sincere apologies about that.

Hopefully things will be back on track some time later on today.

Again, my apologies, although to this lunatic who last answered, well, words fail me, what a thing to say!

Ok, it was a very simple problem, spoke to my hosting company earlier, I had the domain showing like this: iSpyWithMy.com in cPanel, when of course, it should all have been lowercase apparently, with no letters capitalised.

It'll be good to go in less than 24 hours again.

As I said, sorry about that and I'll look forward hopefully then, to reading your reviews, tips, guidance and advice as per my original post request.

Lol, you need to take a deep breath and calm yourself down.

I wasn't accusing anybody of anything. When I implied you may be using a domain name that didn't belong to you, it was only in reference to the fact that I've seen people do silly stuff like this, (in innocent ignorance), and I was trying to explain to the others why your site wasn't displaying properly. (Therefore any of their comments about your blog design was moot).

Ultimately, I feel sorry for you. Your post was sent out in the WebProWorld Newsletter as their "Featured Site". It's a shame something happened that your site didn't display properly, (I'm assuming it was displaying properly when you made your post?), because this was a nice opportunity for you to unveil your new blog to possibly thousands of newsletter readers.

I'm sorry I offended you and I should have worded my post differently. I look forward to seeing your blog when it's up and running properly.

I hope, through this post, that I have proven to you that my maturity level is greater than that of a two year old, (even if only slightly ). I did not get defensive, retort inappropriately, or resort to name calling.

I was perfectly calm, there you go again, doing the same sort of thing, trying to infer a situation that is not true.

You don't know me, yet straightaway you are trying with your comments to infer pov (points of view) of your own casting your aspersions on my character - that is not on, that is what you need to be told, whether you like it or not.

The strong inference was there that I was lying and in doing so, trying to cast me in such a bad light, you were also insinuating that I was a scammer and here posting this up to simply waste everyone elses time, sullying my reputation etc.

I think under the circumstances that anyone would not be happy with such comments, so take my reply on the chin (British expression) and desist from making such ludicrous remarks in the future.

As regards your apology, I accept it, that apology was in order.

Yes, the blog was displaying perfectly fine when I made this thread, yes it is unfortunate that I ran into this problem, I did not foresee it nor of course plan for it, as I said in my opening thread, I am by no means an expert in Wordpress having only just started out using that platform to put a site together, this development thing being a complete break from my usual work which is domain names and SEO as well as producing advertising videos. It's another phase of my online development learning how to put sites together myself.

Let's move on and hopefully, your comments will be more constructive and positive in the future.

By the way, if you want to do domain research, try Whois lookup and Domain name search that searches a lot more peramators that other domain research tools do not.

I'm really, really sorry about that, the kafuffle of the past few days - the site is now back up and I'm just adding back in the content again.

Some posts are already in there, just got to add the rest and further categories to get it back to where it was before.
