Default new marketing site design

I'm having to redesign this site, which I think is fine the way it is. Give me your thoughts if you were in the same position: cjadvertising.

cjadvertising.com you mean? Changing that background would be a good start to keeping me on your site. Very distracting to me.

Looks like a standard template-based site you'd buy just about anywhere and the background is quite overbearing.

While it does "pop" the page, overall I'd say that it gives the user the impression that you're an amateur.

It's a pretty comprehensive site that demonstrates a lot of features but you already knew that.

IMHO, you need a cleaner, more corporate look and feel.

I agree with dubbya that there is room for improvement. I would ditch the radiating purple background. And the purple and red color scheme seems too garish and not as professional as it could be in my opinion. Especially as they are marketing to attorneys who are generally a conservative lot. Since this company sells website creation as a service, they need to put effort into making their own website an outstanding example. Of course that's nice in theory, but in fact, it's easier to spend that effort on paying customers instead. So, it's good they are making the effort to have you help them. good luck!

Nothing wrong with templates but they are just guidelines for people to follow. I'd for sure do something with that purple and almost the whole top of the site is pure images. Text is almost to the point you have to scroll down to read it. It's not one of our templates that's for sure

I'd get busy making some changes right away.

Just a few thoughts here.

1. I agree with the other posters on the purple background. It doesn't blend well with the rest of your site. It clashes more than anything.
2. It seems that 4 of 6 of your sample websites are also the exact same template as your main site. This would give me the impression that you do not have the qualifications to do site design as you advertise. When showing your samples - i.e. your abilities, I would think you would want to show 6 varieties in 6 different samples.
3. You might want to change your main font to something more professional for this type web page. The font is very readable, but again it doesn't compliment your site when advertising to the professional.
4. Also, the font in your info box seems to clash with your main font.

Just some thoughts. Hope they might help.

Fonts used are very good, very neat looking.. I just don't like the purplish background, I suggest to make it white.
