Default problem on website

Hi, I haven't been on here in quite awhile, but I really need some help. I just got thru changing the year on how long my website has been up and deleting a page I had on there for my son and a problem has arisen with the background on my homepage (index) - basically my background image is not showing up and I cannot see why that is happening. FYI I am a complete amateur using Coffee Cup html editor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you didn't delete the background image? Or have you modified the index page and change the image path?

you might consider changing the name of the file from beigelace.jpe to beigelace.jpg to keep it consistent. Your problem stems from your meta tag line: there is a missing quotation mark at the end. You have
<meta name="keywords" content="blah, blah , blah >

instead of

<meta name="keywords" content="blah, blah, blah ">

ddwalker,
thanks so much I was going crazy trying to figure out what I did - my sons stuff was the keywords at the end and I didn't realize I deleted the quotation mark also.
Once again - thank you!

May I make another suggestion? If you want to maximize your site (and perhaps your sales), LOOSE the MAILTO link. In this day an age, who can afford to pay for a pop3 mail account? Most people (myself included), use FREE ONLINE email accounts (Yahoo, Gmail, aol, etc...) and can not make use of your MAILTO: link. Instead, do what I do: create a form and email the results to your cell phone, email address or any other place you want. How much to you pay each month for web hosting?

I work on a small budget, my hosting is with GoDaddy and I pay 5.44 a month. I'll have to learn how to add a form to my site, but that is a good idea, thanks. I've got the yahoo & gmail accounts also, I just thought people would have more confidence if there was an email address with the sites name in it. I've had the site awhile but haven't alot of time to learn how to tweak it to better performance, I've started to many times, but kids & life got in the way.
thanks again, maybe since the holidays are over I can attempt it again
