the color orange is very harsh on the eyes... you might want to either consider using a better color or making the orange a much lighter shade...
the graphics on your bubble chair pages are missing..
you need more text on your index page...
you should be using a more readable and professional looking font.. such as Verdana or Arial.
hope this helps..

Default Thanks Mary Ann

Thanks for taking the time to take a look. The color suggestion is understandable. As far as the fonts, like I said, I am new to this and was afraid if I picked a font that wasn't on the user's computer it might not work right. As far as the pictures missing, I couldn't find which ones were missing. Unless you meant the add to cart buttons which I left out on backordered items.

Thanks again...

check all of your bubble chair pages... the main photo on most of the pages is missing... be sure you have the coding correct.

Default Thanks again Maryann

Thanks for taking the time to alert me to the exact problem with the images. I was unable to tell the pictures were missing because it was pulling them from my hard drive. It was easy enough to fix. Thanks for the help.

Default javascript

I was thinking of adding a product slideshow javascript to my index page. Does anyone have any thoughts on that. I'm trying to decide. Would it be too distracting
or would it add some zest to the site? Any thoughts?

Hi,

Your site is fast-loading, clean, neat and well-organized.

The color scheme leaves a lot to be desired, and will not be very helpful for the color-blind. Below are some URLs that I think are most helpful in determining a color scheme. If you decide to change your colors, you might like to take a look at what these sites have to offer.

Default I'm having color troubles

Thanks for your review Nanci.
I was looking at the resources you mentioned and it dawned on me, I have no clue how to pick colors.
So please, if anyone has a color combination that they think would go good with the logo I have at the top left of my page, please make a suggestion, in hex, or just lighter, darker, greener, etc...

I want the site to be non offending, but I also want it to have some character.

Thanks in advance,
Ted

Default Your Red Colour

Try #CC0000 for the red or for even darker #990000.
I know we have to think of accessibilty so by making thered darker you will allow the navigation elemnts to stand out. The Orange should not be a problem.

The above make the red a shade darker or two and takes that glare away.

Nice site and some good stuff you have on it

Default Thanks Keimos

Thanks for the color suggestions Keimos.
I had actually thought about using #cc0000.
It's amazing what a difference just changing the red made on the whole impact of the page. It certainly toned it down a bit. As for the Logo, I'm not sure if I should tone it down or if it is fine the way it is.

Thanks again to everyone for looking.

Looks like the changes did you some good... just one suggestion from me is to change your margins in the body tag (or add margins.. I didn't check the source) so that you don't have that white space at the top and side of your design (making the orange flush against the top and the left side)

I think that would give it a nice improvement:)

Really? I didn't even notice the margins, I should be able to take care of that. Thanks for taking the time to drop me a line.
