Hey all.
Been working on gpx screenprinting for a bit, and am looking for some feedback, mainly in the SEO department. Just wondering how the experts feel about the on-page SEO work. Everything seem okay? 'Screen printing' itself is a very competitive term, but i think we've got a bit of a niche with the 'wholesale' and 'contract' approach. I'm building the gpx embroidery sister site once i've got this one all set up as a template. Also looking for general feedback on design, coding, etc. NOTE: homepage content will be changed once I have final copy from business owner.

I'm not and expert but here it goes.
Over all I like it. As far as SEO goes I'm not sure what else could be done other then maybe titles on the text links but this is more for accessibility. Other then that I think the page could be made about 50px wider. This way it will still show on a 800X600 res without a scroll bar but also use up more of the screen on a higher res. I like the images you used but feel they maybe a little to big as they seem to dwarf the words in the center. Lastly I would move the phone number down into the Green area and slide the whole page up. The off white top looks out of place to me because of the amount of off white. I'm not sure if this info is available to you but I would have liked to have seen some of their work. Also a list and images of the different types of products / styles of hats and shirts with color choices that are available through the site. Note Misspelling on pricing.php "per teh packaging" |

Thanks for taking a look!
I've added some titles to my links. I'll be adding photos of their work as i get them. As far as different types of products go, because it's wholesale, the client would actually supply gpx screenprinting with whatever products they need screen printed. We don't necessarily have product to sell online. Thanks again!

Okay, added some product photos on the homepage (using lightbox to display full-size shots). Let me know what you think of placement etc. Aside from a copy update on the homepage, it's about ready to go.
My biggest concern as of right now is a call to action. Does this site invoke any sort of action? Pretend for a moment you're a person in the promotional products industry, and you're looking for a wholesale screenprinter...does this site do it for you? Thanks!

Not an expert by any means, but here are a few things I thought of while on your site.
Do you guys offer screen printing on all locations of the garment or just standard front and back? I didn't notice anything on your site highlighting the different locations(left sleeve, back right shoulder, etc) being available for screen printing. Might be worth at least letting your customers know those printing locations are available somewhere on the site. Also, from my stand point it would be huge if you had an affiliate blank goods company to link to from your site. If I know I could save $.10 per t-shirt by going through you instead of direct, it would make your site more of a stop shop. Is there anything that separates your screen printing from everyone else? A certain machine, better ink, better price points? There was nothing really jumping out at me saying "We are the guys you should use and here is why". Again, my website is currently a work in progress and I am still learning along the way. Just wanted to throw out my thoughts for you! Best of luck with everything.... kb |
