Site: Google Video Sharing Adsense Revenue - Upload Video From Google, YouTube, Yahoo, 6rooms, Dailymotion, Veoh, Youku, 56, Tudou, Ku6 and Showvideos

My site has gone through a facelift not so long ago. I sincerely appreciate your comments about the design layout, speed or anything that you find not so good about.

Thank you.

your logo is very choppy. Is that the look that you intended? It looks like a downsized jpeg, I would clean it up.

Thanks for your comment. Sorry, I do not understand when you said it is choppy. What do you mean? Any recommendation for the logo?

I just mean that the text isn't clean in the logo. It looks jagged, like a set of steps. Specifically, the V in Video and the A in Sharing, but all of the letters have the same jaggedness. It looks to me like a jpeg was taken and reduced in size, with a result being decreased image quality. Perhaps that is just the font that you picked, but it looks weak to me.

I don't notice the jaggedness in any other text on your site, so its not my monitor or resolution. I like the logo otherwise. Perhaps I am suggesting that you keep the font the same throughout? Hope that helps.

Okay. Now I understand. I am using a third party designer for the revamp. I will see what I can do with the resolution to improve the jag.

Thanks!

As Greg Arim said, the logo is a bit to choppy. But that also is my opinion on the rest of the design. It's all a bit too busy. I mean that the content is not very well balanced. It could be shown more clean in an Web2.0 way. If the design would be changed to the type I mentioned I think it could look like a really great site!

Have made change to the logo but yet to refresh the new logo. Seems like having problem to refresh and seeing the new logo at times.

This is supposed to be web 2.0 design but due to the current programming structure, it has to be as it is I guess.

Question Re: Please review my site

Have made some more changes to optimize the site. What do you think of the changes? Or do I need to improve on certain issues?

Thanks!

  1. The graphical solution is Ok.
  2. The site is slow.
  3. There are problems with navigation (try clicking the different folders. Not every surfer know that you have to click the logo to be redirected to the home page).
  4. Share Video Keywords Tags: Text difficult to read.
  5. McCain-Pailin Rally in Dayton, Ohio. Is the videos yours or only linked in from YouTube?

    youtube.com/watch?v=WKByFPy7-RU&eurl=http://www.1502.us/index.php

Why not use that area to promote your own business?

Thanks for your review. I will need to look into the loading why it is slow. From my end, it took 10 secs to load the entire page. I have the navigation for home page at the top (below the logo) and bottom page. Okay. I will increase the font size of the Keyword Tags so it will be readable. All videos are from the individual hosting sites like YouTube, Video Google, Yahoo, etc.

What do you mean by "Why not use that area to promote your own business?" ?

Okay... I hate to say it but I'm lost on your site
All I wanted to do was add a blog, So I clicked add blog. Then I clicked personal blog. Then I got lost. I did not see how to add a blog. So I thought what the hell maybe I have to sign up. So I did. Still I did not see where to add a blog. Now not only am I lost, I'm getting confused and frustrated and looking for someone to find me to lead me out. Then all the sudden that person showed up when I clicked on my user name on the right hand side. I was lead to a page that said "Are you lost? Since your here click on any red dot" so I did, I clicked the red box with the white X and I was free. I never did get to add my blog though.

With that said I have to ask.

1. Why when I clicked my user name it took me to that page and NOT to my profile page?
2. Why do all the links at the top lose their names when I click the 'NEWS' link?
3. Why could I not find how to add a blog....

Although the trip was fun. I do not think I would go back to that site without a GPS

Yes. I guess you are right. It is confusing for first time user. There is a help explanation for video, website, url except for blog though it is the same function.

To add blog, video, website or url, it needs to press on the Post button.

Anyway, after a long consideration, I am changing this site to wordpress blog soon.

Thanks for the review.

I have bookmarked your site and will look for changes. Video site are very important. YouTube is as important here, for some young people, as Google to me.

Young people are the future.
