I am interested in any comments regarding usability of our site.

This site is superb. And I mean what I say. If you read my reviews, if it's garbage I'll state it, and how to fix it. But this site I like, and will book mark and visit again. It offers quality content, tons of exploration, and I feel that it is going to have very useful information. However, I noticed that your statistical rankings and information is not the greatest which tells me you lack traffic. Probably about 20 uniques per day? I would suggest that you take this site and market it to the fullest extent using statistical referencing because something of this magnitude is almost a function of the web.

I think the usability is fairly good.

I am struggling with the design. My immediate thought when I first arrived was: real estate site like Zillow or Trulia.

So, I went away and came back after a few hours. My first reaction still holds and I think something needs to change, but I just can't explain what.

Thanks for the input. We are currently receiving about 500 uniques per day which is still way too low. We are working on several paths to better SEO.

In regards to the usability/accessibility of the site you really should have steered clear of using tables for the page layout.

Also if you try resizing the text on the page then it breaks and parts overlap.

You have 229 validation errors on the page too. Parts of the tables arent closed properly.

Your page title and meta keywords and description are good though.

And i like the general look and feel of the site.
Really you should get it re-built with xhtml/css properly. Tables are meant for displaying tabular data not for page layout.
