The layout looks 1990ish to be honest and lack any "POP"

So maybe you might have an idea or two? Some flash or something, not really sure what to do to spice it up, I have some knowledge of flash, any ideas?

Thanks

Lighten the background color to start. right now it is to dark and uninviting.
Add more info on the main page as to why he is the best.
The platform page is good but would be better if it was organized to topic.
Lastly kill the hit counter this is real old school

You can add some flash just do not go overboard

Take a look at McCain page mainly at the colors and top navigation. If you did something on this line it would help.

The top head area "from the top nav bar up" is the main area to look at. Everything else on that page is just lip stick on a pig.
That top head area answers most if not all questions that visitors would have quickly, While keeping a modern look.

Hope this helps

I'm not promoting McCain but I could not find one for Baraka

Just to be brutally honest, that look is very outdated and homemade looking. Not professional at all. I don't see how you could charge money for that. Again, nothing personal, but you wanted feedback.

By the way...not to get political but I guess I am. The guy on his platform page says that he would

"Subsidize small businesses with redirected dollars from the oil subsidies."

You have got to be kidding me. Is he a communist?

1. A better photo(s)
2. Run all text copy through a spell-check
3. Platform statements should be put in a bulleted list, and NOT centered. Left justify instead.
4. An audio, or a link to a Youtube video would be a good addition
5. Perhaps a link to a Facebook (or similar) profile page
6. A section for volunteer efforts and donations
7. A blog (see #5)
8. Background info on the candidate
9. Contact info
10. Press Release Articles - Media section

Keep at it. Just don't quit your day job just yet.

Geez, hope you are healing from your bruises! IMO, I would shorten the width of the page say to
800-900. Also, after doing that, center the website in the center of the browser. Pull it together, and center it to give it a more professional look. Perhaps on the platform, bullet points instead of
justified centering on the page.

Your customer is your customer. Or as we say in the office, "The customer is not always right, but he is always STILL the Customer!"

Good Luck with your site.

Very 20th century looking - the layout is very amatuer - not going to get any stickiness - navigation need to be top and left side with a better image in the center and more headline pizzazz
