Hi,

I'm going to ignore the posts of the blog/content portion and focus on the banner and navigation.

Home / About Us / Forums - These need to be more visible, and the dotted line parts don't do much for me. White test for the links, or your rather signature bright orange would help, but also consider not fading the left side of the bar so visitors don't have to squint, and move Home over to the left so it doesn't look like there is a blank link hiding there.

Brighten the banner text as well, or deepen the alpha fade into the vehicle. As a personal opinion, that Mercedes is not as sexy as half the blogged-about vehicles, consider another picture, especially one that is not a white vehicle... maybe nudge the nose or some exotic-looking piece of it in from the right, as this would be less brand-biasing for those who don't recognize the vehicle immediately, and would also reduce clutter in your logo-banner-text area.

Checked the code and reloaded, so I see the red one now as well cycling through - that's closer to my suggestion, but again consider keeping it out of your text area. Or move the "logo" or whatever you want to call your site name above the image - nothing wrong with a clear picture of a nice car. Tagline is weak and the site name is self-explanatory, so that might be fine: "where being enthusiastic is a way of life" sounds decidedly not enthusiastic, more like reading the back of a soup can, no offense meant.

Submit button is not the same type as the others, the others are nice. Background hinting at carbon fiber is nice. Final note on the banner, mask its rounded areas to match the gray (versus leaving the mask white) for slightly improved flow?

Nice site, 10x that remark if your content is original.

Well to be honest I'm not a blogger. In fact I hate blogs and for the most part I do not review them.

With that said I have to add you did a nice job.
Nice images, clean layout, needs some original content though.

There are a few things though that I did see you may want to look at.

1. Your page title needs a little work. Just having your domain name isn't enough as no one searches your domain name.

2. I have seen pages that use less lines than your keywords do. Weed these down....alot.

Other than that I think you did great job in colors and also in showing restraint in your ad-sense.
I can see myself reading this blog.

OK. You might have given us the courtesy of checking your site before you posted it then. You have 48 markup errors and as the default WordPress template fully validates, that is down to your layout.

Why go to all the bother of putting the site together if you have a better design up your sleeve? Doesn't say much for the quality of the product and why sould we bother to even look at new site?
