Default CBCJobs.com Review

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone suggest any improvements for CBCJobs.com - find jobs, work, employment, careers, resume search.

I think functionality wise, it's pretty extensive, but visually it could use improvement. any input appreciated, thanks!

Hello.

Andy Warhol's take on a "Hillary Clinton" Elvis/Marilyn series. That's what the poor lady on the phone said to me. Very funny, but she probably belongs elsewhere. iStockphoto, Fotolia, and others are a couple bucks from a big improvement for you there.

Logos are important, so are colors. It doesn't cost much to get a nicely-done logo created, and while I hate to say it, even a buy-a-logo template might be a decent placeholder as you finalize something else. I'd consider dumping the green possibly. If you like the green (it's unusual, but not in a bad way), try getting some assistance with matching the tones an shades in the logo, top banner, and the table rows, as those last two, aqua/lime tinged elements, are a bit of a clash.

Every TITLE tag appears to be the same. It's also not a very strong tag in terms of your word choice - we wish you well and all, but with Monster and Dice and Craigslist and friends, shooting for the moon on an employment site is... ambitious. Might consider trying to localize or specialize in some fashion that gives you a shot at some SERP coverage in the top 10?

Need to pick and stick as regards a font - Arial and Times New Roman collide, I'd go Arial. Pick a size and uppercase/lowercase, too. Been up a couple days now, but either I have a brain bleed or the listings are a point or more different, Job Title vs. Company. Since you appear quite fluent in PHP, I'd not capitalize the locations, it's distracting and is less important than the job title to your visitors.

It's got potential - good luck!
