Very simple to navigate. Unlike so many other similar sights, you shown a great deal of restraint with your advertising. I big one in the plus column from the end-users point of view. Although you may want to consider placing the ads that you do have in a more strategic place.

Overall very impressive with the simplicity and elegant approach

It's a load to look at, but I agree with Dave and MTheory, content more or less dictates it be text-heavy, and it's nicely done in dealing with that. Nice site overall in fact, way to go!

Unless it's Awards season, I might push that below "Entertainment" - not to be crass, but guessing wildly at your traffic, visitors above the fold might more often click on "Hottest Actress over 20" than "Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series" - obviously being a sophisticated sort, I went with supporting actor (cough).

These polls and lists are subject to change I recognize, but seems that Entertainment will tend to be more visited than awards ignoring the annual red carpet buzz.

And now for an even more totally petty note: the "Popular" onhover does not change to white-on-gray like the other tabs (goes dark-on-dark, hard to read).

Simple, Clean, Easy

I would recommend though
if possible
Make the URLs SEO friendly
Create a sitmap.xml file and submit it. I did not see one.
Create a robots.txt file to bad the bad bots.
I did not like your 404 page to be honest.

Over all nice site.
Good Work

though i have nothing to compare (I was not able to see the old site)... i like your present design - it's very neat, simple and easy to navigate. everything is well-placed so it doesn't look crowded.

Seems a bit too plain to me. My eyes only focus on images. Needs a bit more contrast.

Code-wise. Niceone for coding in xhtml strict but then... why on earth have you used tables for layout?? Thats like taking one step forward and 50 steps backwards!
