Thank you for taking time to read this posting and I hope you will help me. I have had the site up for about 6 months getting on average about 300 hits per month. I have listed my site on a webring of similar sites. I have also swapped links with a couple of other websites. I have not yet had 1 sale. It is possible I may not be presenting the product in a way that will make my visitors want to buy.

Thank you again for any help

First impressions of the site is that you sell hippy-stuff. Looking at the product I see that this is not so. I do not think the colors or design of your site suits your product line. You need to try for something more elegant. Get rid of the tie-die swirls and the lavendar background. Look for something a bit more muted. Maybe a cream background with cranberry text. Something like that anyway.

Your information and the order of your pages is fine. Just need to drastically change the appearance to suit your product.

I am assuming that the "World of Products" image you have on the home page and the about us page is the cover of a catalog. And the World of Products company is a distributor that caters to thousands of individuals like yourself in order for your to have your own product line to sell via catalog or online.

Aside from Kingman's observations (which I agree with) I would say your biggest problem is you lack individuality. First off your have a link to a web ring of hundreds of people selling the same stuff, from the same catalog, offered by the same distributor. This does not give you an edge. It hurts you. The image of the catalog easily displays the fact that you are a client of "World of Products" that does not give you the edge of being a distributor of products that would be any different than any other "World of Products" distributor.

I am not trying to rain on your parade, I am emphasizing the point that you need to stand out, and push the image of World of Products away from you. Become a company that offers products that are unique and separate than the other mall stores out there. I am not saying to dumb the World of Products lines, just don't promote that that is where you are getting your products.

Lose the catalog cover image. Lose the webring. (it doesn't help when you are connected to people selling the same stuff you do) Simplify the graphic buttons and create your own logo to make you stand apart form the rest.

This will give you a big change in the length in time people stay and possibly purchase.

Best of luck.
Feel free to ask other questions.
