I taught myself Dreamweaver and built this website as a non-professional. I know there are probably a lot of problems with it, but don't know where to begin! I will appreciate any and all advise as to how to improve the site. In fact, I somewhat expect to have to start from scratch in order to get it "right"! Thanks in advance for all forthcoming advise!

i like the colors and layout, but there a few tweaks you could make which may help
////////////////////////////////////
i would make the logo and header area smaller - a lot of the content is not visible at lower resolutions.
I dont think there is a need to duplicate the navigation - its a bit redundent to have it on the side and thre top.

also i would try to optimise youre images a little, one that i looked at was 86k.

overall a good effort, just needs a little tidying up.

Default I looks good

One suggestion I would make though is that you do not need the navigation on the top header portion and the left side. If anything have it either on the left or the header and then just have simple links at the bottom of each page (that way people can navigate to other parts of your site without having to go back to the top).

Looks good!

You could probably get away with out using the blue color for some of the text. Try to stick with just the three colors, red, gray, yellow. That is about the most that you want to have on a page.

I agree that you should eliminate a menu. No need for the duplication.

As for the images, the clarinet images at the bottom might have been meant to be artsy, but they come across as incomplete. I would try to find better images.

I have to ask, what is the 'ING' for in the top right? I could not find how it tied in.

Having the clarinet image change sizes on each page is not appealing. Make it a fixed image or drop it all together.

I would say you have the start of a potentially classy site. Spend some time tweaking and let us know when you are ready for another look.

Also, some of your pages have no title. You should fix that. Hope this helps.

Default thanks

I am so new to this, so I am very appreciative of the feedback. I will be trying to implement the suggestions as soon as my "real" job gives me the time!
