My last search site Meta Search Engine and search resources: SurfToolbar.com is under construction. Feedback priority is on:

I like and do not like the site. I can see many people, including myself, using your site and setting your site as a homepage due to the search feature at the top of your page. I like being able to click what search engines to search as Google, Yahoo or MSN alone do not always come back with the info one is looking for. What I did not like and found a little confusing was your list. In your list you have decent resources, I did not see any tools, but you have links to other search engines. I am not sure when you already have your site that uses and pulls info from a decent list of more popular search engines, why you would list more search engines to send your visitors away from your site. The other thing I found confusing was the organization of the list itself. You have resources and search engines all mixed together. From your Google search down to the search with espotting I really liked and really see people setting this site to their home page / default search engine. From your search with espotting down, I did not like and found the list to be cluttered and confusing.

Thank you for your fast comment. I made some changes. Flattering that you wan't to make it your home page. Tell me if you miss a favourite search box.
Did you note, the top link with anchor text "Open 4 popular search windows" That is especially efficient if you use the Opera web browser for the following reasons:

I like your concept a lot, but I am curious about one thing: Do you expect any problems using frames to display the content of search engine websites under your domain name?

No more problems than Google should get having original music on their YouTube site IMO.
Frames on my site? The frames are opened in a new window, and the Se's will get the Ad income if the surfer clicks a sponsored link. I don't have any content on that new window. Is software only allowed to collect information and not allowed to open (framed) search windows? What if I opened the search windows in the same way I do for the link with anchor text Open 4 popular search windows ?

The links may open in a new window but they still open under the domain name. While I don't think the issue of frames has been totally resolved in copyright law, opening your results in another window with your own domain name is not any different than opening in the same window. Opening the new window under your domain name could give the appearance that the content is your own. I think it is a dangerous edge to walk.
I'm not trying to offend you I am just highly curious about the copyright issues involved.

Do you mean that it would be better to collect the search results and present them like some meta search engines do with their own Ad on their own SERP's?

No, I don't mean that at all. I believe it is always best to get permission when using resources. I like what you've done I would hesitate to do it myself unless I had permission to do so.

You don't answer, but regarding my bolded third point above I can add.
It is obviously legal to search a web server for information, but not the SERPS of a search engine. It should be no problem for a programmer to block my site. They may loose ad income.

Your questions above are irrelevant. The real question has to do with using frames to post original content belong to someone else. I don't know whether Google, MSN, Yahoo, Excite, Dogpile, et al, are going to take exception to having their search results displayed in frames under your domain name. If they do then the problem will be transferred to you. The bottom line is that you are displaying original content belonging to others within frames and under your domain name. But to answer your questions more specifically:
In summation I am not suggesting you are guilty of copyright infringment. My original question is still a simple, non-offensive one: "Do you expect any problems using frames to display the content of search engine websites under your domain name?"

Kjell is there a reason that you did not add Google Search Engine, but only their directory?

I have AdSense for search on the toolbar.
Google is still my favourite provider
