Exclamation Please Re-review my tennis site!

HEY GUYS

Spent all day re-doing the navigation structure to make it far more noticable and easy to use. I have enlarged and changed some fonts and graphics and hopefully this will have dulled down the ads on the page.

Please let me know what you think.. if you have any other suggestion i would love them. Even if you just want to say nice site, or site sucks

I know it may be a slightly simple site riddled with errors (i am not a web designed...i just decided to have fun with this) but I would really like to hear it all!

THANKS
Steve Viglione

Well to be honest I do not like the look or layout of the site. The navigation bar looks too big along with the font size used on the bar. Your advertisements are a distraction from your content. Looking at your code you have other things you need to work on as well, but before I go on I have to ask what program are you using to edit your html? It appears you are using a template made for Dreamweaver, but it does not look like your using Dreamweaver to edit this template.

Things that really stood out:

1. Remove your all your styles and put them in a .css file.

2. This need to be fixed 'favifile:///C:/Documents and Settings/vigliones/My Documents/My Web Sites/Topspin Sports Online Tennis Lessons/Favicon.icocon.ico".

3. I think the page would look better align centered.

4. Your page is missing a !DOCTYPE . This needs to be fixed.

6. The large white space between the bottom ad and your footer bar seems a bit much.

The content on your page looks useful / helpful, but the layout and design in my eyes is not appealing.

Thanks, again...

1. I am in the process of cleaning up all of the styles....i used the design view in microsoft expression web for the first 2 months...then learned about .css stuff. its a mess.

2. What about 'favifile:...ico' needs to be fixed? what should it be fixed too?

3. Is there an easy way to center all of the content?

4. what is a !DOCTYPE?

I definitely sound like an idiot.

Thanks Again,

Steve

oh the reason for the dreamweaver template is because it is installed on my computer and keeps making it the default.

By removing it your page will load faster and will also move your content closer to the top. "As Search engines see it"

If you look at the address bar in your browser before the http:// you will see a icon this is your favicon. Right now your points to a file on your computer but should point to a file on your domain.

Try reading this or if you whole page is in a div tag or on a table center align it
