I would be grateful if you would review my website CV Writing, Professional CV Writers & Free CV Reviews UK . I have had this site running for a few years and I used to be on the top page on Google about 2 years ago under the search terms Cv Writing and Professional CV. Since then for some reason my site's ranking dropped quite considerably and I am still trying to fathom out why and what I am doing wrong. I am always trying to change to content but it does not make any difference. Please help?

I can't comment on the ranking problem.

I can tell you that your site looks as if it was designed in 1996 and has not been updated since.
- background "paper"
- all bold text
- serif text
- color scheme
- misaligned objects in top banner (Firefox 3 under Mac OS 10.5.3)

Thanks for your reply. I developed this particular website last year but did it through Dreamweaver. Unfortunately I have absolutely no technical knowledge or experience whatsoever. I had to teach myself by reading up in books. I know it may look old fashioned and would like it to be more professional but do not have the resources to pay anyone to design it for me. I was particularly interested in a review of the content (and not so much the look of it) as it is that which makes a difference to a webiste's position in a search engine.

If there is anybody that can help me with perhaps letting me know what I might be doing wrong that will affect the suffering of my position in a search engine such as Google then that would be great!
