Re: Rewiev my site: www.murano-store.com
What is e-muranoshop.com?
How old is this site?
On your website when you click on 'Go to the Shop' it opens up a new window. This is an odd configuration.
I think google might be looking at you as an affiliate site and google hit affiliates pretty hard.
Notwithstanding, hitting the 'cache' button indicates that google does have at least something in its index.
Looks like you're carrying a PR of 0 with no backlinks. Looks like you have to get some links.

Thankyou, for your help!
yes e-muranoshop.com is old site and only e-commerce site.
I want to use murano-store to increase positions.
Your idea is to de-links the two sites and close e-muranoshop?
the backlins you intend more links from other sites?

Re: Rewiev my site: www.murano-store.com
Hi!
Congrats on an overall nice code. Some minor problems with the CSS, though ... but easy to fix.
Fast-loading page, but you could possibly improve on cover1.jpg (30k) putting the text in a transparent .gif and superimposing that by z-index:100 ... did not test it, but if you are picky about download times, you might try it.
I agree with davebarnes: The "Contact" link should point to a contact page giving real information. It looks phoney this way. Apart from that: always mark mailto: links as such.
Your ALT attributes look a bit like keyword stuffing, but that may be just my opinion.
hth,
Alex

No, do not close e-muranoshop.com - make murano-store.com a stand alone entity, for purposes of e-commerce coming out of Italy I respectfully suggest that you look to forzieri.com as being a 'stand out' example of what you should be doing.
The problem with what you're doing is that if a customer is coming into murano-store and wants to buy something you're sending them to e-muranoshop and it just feels awkward and the pop up screen really doesn't work that well.
For purposes of traffic, internally on your website the only thing you can do is to write descriptions of the products, have appropriate meta tags, etc. There is only so much that you can control internally. The reason you de-link the two sites is because I believe google is looking at this site (murano-store) as a potential affiliate site and they typically don't rank well.
Of course, always be acquiring links.

Re: Rewiev my site: www.murano-store.com
Dear cw1865,
thank you for your precious!
but i think that i must doing a choice.
e-muranoshop have a e-commerce interface with payment, baskets...
murano-store no.
Of course i can de-links the two site, but i must take the e-commerce only on the murano-store?
Forizeri is the best site! is my referral but very complicate to reproduce (:
Today i create the contact us page with all the informations, create some links on the index descriptions, for other description i think that ther are much descriptions in my pages, i dont know if is case to add more descriptions.
Thank you very much

Re: Rewiev my site: www.murano-store.com
Simone,
The site really is just not functioning well. Its structure is not intuitive.
Here is what I mean: I see 'Murano Glass Classic Style Chandeliers'
Now let's say that interests me, there should be two options:
1. see a more detailed description which would take you to a page on murano-store.com with the potential to see larger pictures, perhaps different pictures, maybe with some technical specs.
2. A buy now or add to cart button which puts the item into a secured shopping cart (you will of course have this option on the product page.
This is not what is happening here:
I click on 'Shop-Store' and it opens another window of the same page that I was in
(I was: Murano Store - glass chandeliers, lamps, lightings made in italy) and the window opens up and brings me to: Murano Store - glass chandeliers, lamps, lightings made in italy)
I've been looking at this site for a couple of minutes now and I am telling you, I still haven't figured out how to get an item into a shopping cart....now I am sure there is a way, but that is not the point, it has to be so obvious how to do it that a 7 year old could do it.....
